All the laws Maker's from different political parties, the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC), People Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), have come to conclusions that Buhari should address the issue of insecurity within six weeks or face impeachment.
The minister of information Lai Mohammed, speaking to the state correspondent following the federal executive Council meeting on Wednesday in Abuja, he stated that the impeachment threat is unnecessary saying that president Buhari is not taking the security issue lightly in the country.
The minister proceed by saying, I want to assure Nigerians that the president is aware of all these and modalities have been put in place, I think by tomorrow there is going to be another Security Council meeting to see how Nigeria will be safer for all citizens.
Finally the minister of information assured Nigerian the issue of insecurity will be addressed and resolved amicably, modalities have been put in place to make sure that history of crime is being settle, he also said that there are issues that are not to be discussed openly, that action have been put in place.
